It all started in 2011 when for the first time in my life, I smelled the pure smoke of Palo Santo on the night of a healing cycle I attended.
I had no idea exactly where I was going, and yet the smell immediately took me to the forest, to nature to the simplicity to the rawness of everything.
At that time I realized that this is not ordinary incense that I know from the environment in which I grew up, this is raw natural incense that is just a piece of wood.
Palo Santo in Hebrew translation = the holy stick or the holy tree.

It is a protected tree that grows in the South and Central America region and has been used for purification and healing in the shamanic tradition for thousands of years.
The tree lives in peace. Once he has finished his life naturally one has to wait 4-10 years to complete his transformation process fully before he comes to us.
He should not be cut down and his branches should not be cut while he is alive, one should wait with love and respect his life and not take anything until he gives of himself.
When we have already received His gift, and we have a piece of it in our hands, we can light it and allow the pure smoke it emits to clear from us what does not serve our good, purify the cells of negative memories and renew our spirit.
To summon into our lives the blessing we want to live, in intentional words and in our inner feeling.

Since our meeting (of the Palo Santo and mine), a gate of quality incense that I did not know before has opened in the world.
This is how I slowly became acquainted with "the medicines," as they are called in the Native American tradition, and this is how we treat them, as medicines.
When the tree is injured it secretes resin to heal itself, just as when the resin heats up and burns it stimulates the healing spirit of that tree and summons it to space.
Through the fragrance in the smoke the spirit brings the wonder of its medicine.
